TikTok Star Khaby Lame Detained in US for Visa Overstay

A two-year-old boy named Montrell Williams has been missing since May 10, and New York police suspect his father may have thrown him into the Bronx River. According to local law enforcement, Montrell was last seen with his father after a family gathering, wearing a white T-shirt and a diaper.
Detectives obtained security footage showing the 20-year-old father reportedly discarding a bag into the river shortly after leaving the area. The boy's mother called the police on the same evening, expressing concern over her son's whereabouts. Tensions escalated on June 7 when the father allegedly brandished a knife during a confrontation about the child.
On June 9, the father made a troubling statement regarding Montrell's location, prompting a welfare complaint filed by the child's mother and grandmother with Family Court. An arrest warrant for the father was issued thereafter, leading to his detention for interrogation, although no formal charges have been filed yet. Police have released a photograph of Montrell and are seeking public assistance in locating him.
