Pro-Israel Hackers Target Iran's Crypto Exchange, Stealing $90 Million

Iran's Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi, announced he will meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin following recent US airstrikes on Iranian nuclear facilities. The strikes, which targeted three critical sites, were described by Washington as a "necessary step" to curb Iran's nuclear ambitions in the wake of escalating tensions. Araghchi, speaking at a press conference in Istanbul, emphasized the importance of consultations with Russia, stating, "Russia is a friend of Iran, we always consult with each other."
The airstrikes, ordered by US President Donald Trump, came within the context of an Israeli-led aerial campaign against Iranian nuclear infrastructure. Araghchi condemned the strikes, labeling them a violation of international law, and warned Tehran would invoke its right to self-defense. In a separate statement, Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council, criticized the US action as ineffective and claimed multiple nations are prepared to supply Iran with nuclear warheads.
Araghchi further noted that the US actions have derailed diplomatic efforts, asserting that the Trump administration has shown a disregard for negotiations.
