Zelensky Open to Direct Talks with Putin to End Ukraine War

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy revealed that Ukraine has received only $75 billion out of the $177 billion military aid approved by the United States. In a recent interview with the Associated Press, Zelenskyy expressed confusion over the whereabouts of the unaccounted funds, stating, "I don't know where all that money went." This statement comes in light of U.S. President Donald Trump’s decision to freeze nearly all foreign aid, with exceptions for Israel and Egypt.
Zelenskyy clarified that the aid provided was primarily in the form of weapons rather than cash, noting the real value of military support. He countered claims that Ukraine had received $200 billion from the U.S., describing such figures as inflated. The Ukrainian president also pointed out that while acknowledging the corruption issues in Ukraine, there exists a robust anti-corruption system in place.
As the Russia-Ukraine conflict stretches into its third year, Zelenskyy hopes for stronger U.S. backing and proposed an audit of veteran and healthcare programs amidst concern over the allocation of military support funds.
