Russian Missile and Drone Attack Injures Eight in Kyiv

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has emphasized that Ukraine's chances of surviving the ongoing Russian attack are drastically low without assistance from the United States. In an interview with NBC News, set to air on Sunday, Zelensky stated, "Probably it will be very, very, very difficult... we will have low chance to survive without support of the United States."
This announcement follows recent phone calls between U.S. President Donald Trump, Zelensky, and Russian President Vladimir Putin, which marked a significant move towards potential diplomatic engagements. Trump expressed skepticism about Ukraine's NATO membership prospects and its ability to reclaim all occupied territories after Russia's annexation of Crimea in 2014 and the invasion of Ukraine in February 2022.
Zelensky accused Putin of seeking a ceasefire not to end the war, but to relieve sanctions and allow for military regrouping. Trump's discussions with both leaders coincided with his commitment to swiftly conclude the conflict.
