Unbelievable Twist: Man Declared Dead 17 Years Ago Found Alive in Jhansi

In a shocking development, Nathuni Pal, a 50-year-old man who was reported murdered 17 years ago in Bihar, has been discovered alive in Jhansi. The bizarre case unfolded when the Jhansi Police, during a routine patrol on January 6, encountered a man identified as Pal, who had been living in the area for six months.

Pal’s disappearance dates back to before 2009, when his paternal uncle filed a complaint accusing various family members of murder and land theft after he went missing. The accusations led to four men, including Pal's uncle and brothers, serving jail time. While the uncle has since passed away, the three surviving brothers are on bail.

Upon learning of Pal's situation, Satendra Pal, one of the accused brothers, expressed immense relief and joy, stating, "We are finally free of the taint of murder." Nathuni Pal revealed that due to family tragedies, including the loss of his parents at a young age and the departure of his wife, he had distanced himself from his home in Deoria, Bihar, for nearly 16 years.

Authorities have passed Pal over to the Bihar Police for further investigation as the original case remains open in court.
