Russia Launches Drone Strikes on Ukrainian Cities, Resulting in Casualties

Two separate assassination plots against Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky were disclosed by Ukraine's security services on June 23, with details provided by Lt. Gen. Vasyl Malyuk. Officials revealed that two colonels responsible for Zelensky's protection were allegedly collaborating with Russia's FSB, planning the attacks.
One plot aimed to recruit individuals to carry out an assassination at the President's Office in Kyiv, a complex operation that had been developing since the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Malyuk noted that the security services infiltrated the group through extensive surveillance and operations over nearly two years.
Additionally, a separate plot identified a Polish military veteran as the primary suspect for another assassination attempt at Rzeszów airport in Poland. The suspect, referred to only as Paweł K., allegedly considered various methods, including drone strikes and sniper attacks. This operation was uncovered in collaboration with Poland's Internal Security Agency, leading to the arrest of the suspect.
Polish officials stated that the suspect faces serious charges for plotting actions favorable to a foreign intelligence service.
