Rajasthan NGO Busted for Human Trafficking Under Mass Marriage Scam

A total of 205 Indian nationals, deported from the United States after illegally entering the country, have been flown back to India on a U.S. military aircraft. The C-17 plane departed from Texas approximately six hours prior to the announcement on February 4, 2025, according to sources cited by NDTV. Officials indicated that New Delhi was actively involved in verifying the identities of those deported, signaling potential future flights for more Indian migrants.
This operation aligns with President Donald Trump's stringent immigration policies. Trump's administration has previously utilized military aircraft to deport illegal immigrants to Central American countries. A spokesperson for the U.S. Embassy in New Delhi reiterated that the U.S. is taking a firm stance on border enforcement and illegal migration, which they claim risks organized crime.
External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar also stated that India is open to repatriating nationals living undocumented abroad, provided their identities can be verified. As Prime Minister Narendra Modi prepares for a visit to the U.S. next week, the deportation reflects ongoing cooperation between the two nations on immigration issues.
