Two Dead in Tragic Shooting Involving Police Officer's Son

A private jet crash at Scottsdale Airport in Arizona resulted in one fatality and four injuries on February 10, 2025. The incident occurred when a Learjet 35A, owned by Mötley Crüe frontman Vince Neil, veered off the runway during landing and collided with a parked Gulfstream G200 business jet. Neil was not aboard the jet, according to CNN.
Emergency responders reported the death of one individual, while the injured were promptly transported to a local hospital for treatment. The Scottsdale Fire Department confirmed that they are recovering the body of the deceased. Initial investigations suggested a mechanical failure related to the left main gear of the Learjet, which led to the crash, as stated by city spokesperson Kelli Kuester.
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) indicated that all flights to the airport were halted for several hours following the incident. Scottsdale Mayor Lisa Borowsky extended her condolences, expressing gratitude for the prompt response from emergency services. The National Transportation Safety Board has initiated an investigation into the collision.
