French authorities have initiated a murder investigation following the death of a newborn baby in Paris on February 24, 2025. The infant’s 18-year-old American mother allegedly threw the child out of a hotel window shortly after giving birth, a police source confirmed. The incident occurred at a hotel in the 20th arrondissement, where the baby was found wrapped in cloth, still attached to the umbilical cord.
Emergency services transported the infant to Robert Debre hospital, but unfortunately, the child did not survive and was pronounced dead at 7:45 AM.
