Holocaust Survivor Returns Honor Amid Rising Far-Right Concerns

A significant data breach has compromised the personal information of around 3.1 million Thermomix customers, as reported by DER SPIEGEL. The breach occurred in the online recipe forum managed by Vorwerk, the manufacturer of the popular kitchen appliance, highlighting vulnerabilities in their data security protocols.
According to Vorwerk, sensitive user information, including email addresses, residential addresses, and birthdates, was accessed and circulated on a dark web forum. The breach reportedly stemmed from a security flaw at an external service provider, allowing unauthorized access for several days. Customers in countries such as the Czech Republic, Spain, France, Italy, Poland, Portugal, and Australia were impacted.
However, Vorwerk confirmed that financial information, including bank details and passwords, was not compromised. The company has pledged to notify affected users and is collaborating with authorities to investigate the incident. Vorwerk has also advised customers to be cautious of suspicious messages and not to engage with unknown contacts. They expressed sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused by this incident.
