Strong Evidence of Potential Life on Exoplanet Discovered by James Webb Telescope

A 14-year-old girl has been sentenced to 15 years in detention for attempting to murder two teachers and a fellow student during a break at Ysgol Dyffryn Aman in Ammanford, Carmarthenshire, on April 24, 2024. Armed with her father's multi-tool, she attacked teachers Fiona Elias and Liz Hopkin, as well as another pupil, while shouting threats, according to Dyfed-Powys Police.
Judge Paul Thomas KC criticized the girl for showing no remorse, stating, “I think you enjoyed the reaction and the publicity.” He noted that she had previously threatened others while in detention. Witnesses reported that she initiated the attack to gain an audience, allegedly saying, “That’s one way to be a celebrity,” during her arrest.
Both teachers have recounted the lasting impact of the attack, with Mrs. Elias stating, “I will never forget the moment I saw the tip of the blade.” The girl had pleaded guilty to wounding with intent and possession of a weapon but denied attempted murder, resulting in a conviction after a week-long trial.
