Reckless Bet Behind 1986 Aeroflot Crash That Killed 70 People

A distressing report emerged from the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine, revealing that a Russian soldier allegedly killed and cannibalized his comrade, eating the body for two weeks before ultimately dying. This incident was disclosed through an intercepted phone call between two Russian soldiers, as reported by the Kyiv Post.
In the conversation, one soldier expressed disbelief over the act, referring to the ex-comrade as "Brelok," who allegedly resorted to cannibalism due to extreme conditions. The second soldier confirmed the grim reality, stating that the individual had been "found as a 200,” a term used for soldiers killed in action.
The incident has heightened tensions as Russian troops recently captured the small settlement of Zaporizhzhya in Ukraine’s eastern Donetsk region, according to the state news agency TASS. On the same day, Russian drone attacks targeted Ukrainian cities, resulting in at least one death and multiple injuries. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy denounced these strikes as acts of terror, appealing to Western nations for increased economic pressure on Russia.
