Tragic Shooting Claims Lives of YouTuber Finny Da Legend and His Wife in Las Vegas

A 15-year-old girl, Makayla Fortner, lost her life in a tragic incident in Alexander, Arkansas, while trying to care for a group of neglected dogs. Local authorities reported that Fortner was mauled to death on Wednesday while attempting to feed around 30 to 40 starving dogs, abandoned by their owners. Her mother, Stephanie Wilkie, had joined her in efforts to rescue the malnourished animals, according to the New York Post.
On the day of the attack, a responding officer had to fire warning shots to disperse the aggressive dogs, which were known to be a concern for neighbors who had reported them roaming freely in the area. Following the incident, city officials seized 14 dogs from the property and euthanized them, while four others remained locked inside the house during the attack.
A GoFundMe page in memory of Fortner described her as a "beautiful, bright girl with the kindest soul." Community members expressed their heartache, pointing to a long history of complaints regarding the hazardous conditions created by the pack of dogs.
