"Is the problem that he is rich and influential or that he is not left-wing?" Meloni questioned reporters, highlighting Musk's growing political involvement.

In response to Meloni's statement, Musk posted on X, stating, "And Soros is being defeated," reinforcing his position against the financier.

The Italian Prime Minister also denied discussing any specific contracts or agreements with Musk regarding secure communication services for Italy, though her government's potential collaboration with Musk's SpaceX for telecom security has come under scrutiny. Meloni emphasized that her administration is exploring options with several private companies, which includes discussions with SpaceX.

This declaration from Meloni marks a significant moment in Italy's political landscape as the PM maintains a favorable stance towards Musk amid his rising influence.
