Eleven-Year-Old Girl With Disabilities Raped in Uttar Pradesh

An 86-year-old industrialist, V.C. Janardhan Rao, was allegedly murdered by his grandson, K. Kirti Teja, in Hyderabad over a property dispute. The incident occurred on the night of February 6, when Teja confronted his grandfather about the distribution of family assets, leading to a violent confrontation. According to police reports, Teja attacked Rao with a knife, resulting in multiple stab wounds that caused immediate death.
The altercation escalated when Teja's mother intervened, resulting in her being injured during the attack. She was subsequently hospitalized, while Teja was arrested shortly thereafter. Investigating officers stated that the number of stab wounds would be verified following a post-mortem examination, although there were multiple reports suggesting over 70 stab wounds.
Teja, who recently returned from studying in the United States, expressed grievances regarding feelings of neglect from his grandfather during his childhood, which purportedly fueled the attack. Authorities have launched a thorough investigation into the incident.
