Elderly Woman Attacked by Dogs in Punjab for the Third Time This Week
In a troubling incident in Punjab's Khanna, an elderly woman was attacked by a pack of approximately five dogs, resulting in at least 15 injuries. The incident, which occurred in the upscale Nai Abadi area, was captured on CCTV. The woman, who works as a housemaid, was seen attempting to escape to a nearby house when the dogs overpowered her. As she was pulled down by one dog, others joined in the attack, biting her arms and face. Fortunately, a nearby resident intervened by throwing an object at the dogs, causing them to disperse. Local residents reported a growing issue with dog attacks in the area, with one resident claiming to have been bitten four times. This marks the third such attack on the woman within the same week.
