A 20-year-old college student was reportedly gang-raped by ten men at Gopalpur beach in Odisha's Ganjam district. The incident occurred late on Sunday night when the woman, who was celebrating the Raja festival with her boyfriend, was attacked while seated in an isolated area, according to her complaint filed at the Gopalpur police station.

The victim, an undergraduate student, stated in her First Information Report that the assailants detained her boyfriend before taking turns to assault her. Authorities apprehended all ten suspects, who are described as non-locals visiting for the festival. "All the detained persons are adults, and we are interrogating them from various angles," police officials confirmed.
