Eleven-Year-Old Girl With Disabilities Raped in Uttar Pradesh

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is projected to win the Delhi state elections, marking a significant shift in the political landscape after nearly three decades of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) governance. According to exit polls, the BJP is expected to secure around 43 seats in the Delhi Assembly, while the AAP is forecasted to win 26, with the Congress party anticipated to capture only one seat.
If these projections hold true, it would end AAP’s decade-long rule led by Arvind Kejriwal, who has been a prominent critic of Modi. AAP spokesperson Priyanka Kakkar dismissed the exit polls, claiming past inaccuracies in predicting their electoral success. The party, founded as a movement for the common man, has been beset by controversy, including corruption allegations that have marred its reputation in recent times.
The official election results are set to be announced on Saturday, 8 February 2025, as the BJP looks to build on its recent gains in other states.
